Had I gone ahead with this post months ago - when I first started the challenge, I would've struggled to come up with a good game to put down for today. Graphics or Art Style, there's so much out there that could fill that void.
I have to admit, the Assassin's Creed series was my first choice, until a little over a month ago when I picked up a copy of a little-known game called Guild Wars 2 (GW2).

While the overall graphics of the game are something akin from generations of games' past (World of Warcraft comes to mind, as it shares a somewhat cartoony vibe), the representation of those graphics and the overall art style of the game allows it to stand tall with almost any other game currently on the market - especially all those now claiming to be photo-realistic (along with other such garbage).
Each race is beautifully rendered via a graphics engine that, while far from optimized, does the designers justice. It's clear that they put a good amount of time into Guild Wars 2, especially when it comes to representing the world that they want their players to inhabit. For that, I have to give GW2 the prestigious title of "Best Art Style" in any game I've played to date.
